Optional Precast Simplified Publisher Trust

The included "Precast Simplified Code Signing.cer" file contains only the
public certificate. It does not contain a private key.

Installing this certificate is optional. If you choose to trust it:

Easiest method:

1. Double-click "Install Precast Simplified Publisher Trust.cmd".
2. Review the explanation and press Y to continue.
3. The helper installs the public certificate for the current Windows user in
both required certificate stores. It does not require the private key.

Manual method:

1. Double-click "Precast Simplified Code Signing.cer".
2. Select Install Certificate.
3. Choose Current User.
4. Select "Place all certificates in the following store".
5. Choose Trusted Root Certification Authorities, complete the wizard, and
review the Windows security confirmation before accepting it.
6. Double-click the same certificate again and select Install Certificate.
7. Choose Current User and "Place all certificates in the following store".
8. Choose Trusted Publishers and complete the wizard.

Both stores are required for this self-signed certificate. Trusted Root
Certification Authorities establishes the certificate chain; Trusted
Publishers authorizes programs signed by that certificate.

Trusting this publisher helps Windows recognize future Precast Simplified
installers signed with the same certificate. Because this is a self-signed
certificate rather than one issued by a public certificate authority, it does
not remove every Microsoft Defender SmartScreen reputation prompt. After both
imports, a warning may still appear while the app builds reputation, but its
publisher should be shown as Precast Simplified rather than Unknown publisher.

The installer never installs this certificate automatically.
